Scars, Fascia & Magnets

Rolling Programme

Improperly healed injuries or operations cause scaring that can potentially affect Qi flow at both superficial and deep levels. Such scar tissue can cause weakness or constriction in the fascia leading to problems in the organs, muscles or tendons and in the circulation of blood and lymph. Scars are an extremely common clinical finding and should always be assessed and treated when necessary.

The fascia is a subtle web linking every part of the body, carrying Qi along internal pathways deep within the organs and structures of the body. It has been referred to in the Classics and can be considered for treatment in a wide range of problems from structural to organ imbalances.

Magnets provide both a simple alternative as well as an adjunct to needles in the clinic and are also an extremely safe and practical way of giving homework to patients. They are particularly suited for the treatment of damaged tissue and muscle spasm, but can be used in a wide range of clinical situations.

This seminar will look at the diagnosis and treatment of scars, the fascia and the use of magnets in both the clinic and for use as patient homework.
